The Connecticut Revolutionaries of the Greenfield Hill Cemetery: 1775 - 1783

The Greenfield Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, Connecticut has over 90 Revolutionary War veterans interred within its stone walls.This cemetery is the final resting place of many of Fairfield's patriots of the war with Britain--who knew each other well either as neighbors, friends or family--who came together to fight for freedom. Most of their stories of military service during the war are unknown--or were until now.This book unearths the lost history of these men during the 8 years of the conflict set into the backdrop and progression of the war for context and clarity. Service for each is charted over the period, including the battles and skirmishes they participated in, with their experiences described in their own words.
